Free Laboratory Services Bring Accessible Healthcare Closer to Lagunenses

Hundreds of Lagunenses benefited from free laboratory services today June 22 under the provincial government’s healthcare program, led by Governor Sol Aragones supported by local health workers. The initiative was conducted to bring essential medical services closer to communities and provide accessible healthcare, particularly for senior citizens and residents in need.

The free laboratory services form part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to strengthen public healthcare and ensure that residents receive necessary medical examinations without additional financial burden. By bringing these services directly to communities, the program aims to promote early detection of illnesses and improve access to quality healthcare across Laguna.

One of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the provincial government. “Maraming maraming salamat po kay Gov. Sol dahil malaking tulong ito sa katulad ko na senior. Hindi ko na poproblemahin ang gamot ko sa pang isang buwan,” the senior citizen said.

The healthcare activity highlights the importance of bringing government services directly to communities, particularly for vulnerable sectors such as senior citizens and low income families. Health workers also played a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of services and medical assistance to residents.

The provincial government continues to strengthen its healthcare initiatives through programs that provide free medical services and expand access to quality healthcare. Through these efforts, more Lagunenses are able to receive timely medical attention and experience public services that directly address their needs. (PIO-Lagun
