DTI launches the “Tindahan Mo, e-Level Up mo!” program in Rizal

 June 26, 2024 | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched the “Tindahan Mo, e-Level Up mo!” program to help sari-sari store owners in the Philippines improve their businesses. This free webinar series tackles various topics that can help them scale up their operations.

The first module, e-Level Up ang Negosyo, focuses on two important areas: Customer Needs - These covers understanding what customers want and need from your store, which include things like product selection and inventory management. Digitalization - This section teaches store owners how to leverage technology to improve their business. This could involve things like using online ordering systems, cashless payments, or social media marketing.

NC Antipolo participated in the Livestream via Zoom with 16 Sari-Sari Store participants who wants to level up their businesses. After the session everyone was very delighted and looking forward for the next module to gain more knowledge in levelling their businesses. Mrs. Elizabeth J. Felomino a resident of Brgy San Isidro Antipolo City and a Sari-Sari Store Owner was so excited and want to try what she learned today. “Maraming salamat po sa opportunity na ito para sa aming mga may ari ng sari sari stores”, she replied about her experience.

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
