1 KILO OF SHABU DISCOVERED ALONG SHORELINE IN LIAN, BATANGAS

Operatives of PDEA Region IV-A Seaport Interdiction Unit-Batangas (PDEA SIU-Batangas), PDEA Batangas Provincial Office and Lian Municipal Police Station proceeded to Sitio Ligtasin, Barangay Luyahan, Lian, Batangas to respond to a report on the discovery of suspected shabu along shoreline of the said Barangay. 

A caretaker whose name was withheld discovered one transparent plastic bag wrapped and reported it to authorities which later found to contain white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less one kilogram worth Php6,800,000.00 and was turned-over to PDEA SIU-Batangas. 

The turned-over suspected substance is being subjected to chemical analysis by PDEA RO IV-A Regional Laboratory Section in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.###

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
