Ceremonial Signing of MPTC's acquisition of the government's stake in NLEX Corporation

In support of the government's effort to fortify its monetary chest, Pangilinan-led Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) recently acquired the 2.61-percent government stake in NLEX Corporation.

MPTC President and CEO, Rogelio Singson,  reaffirmed the toll road company's dedication to supporting the government's efforts and commitment to public service. "We recognize that we are in public service under a private entity. Our commitment is to provide efficient, safe, and convenient travel to our motorists, as well as connecting people and communities," said Singson.

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
