Sen Bong Go declared as adopted son of Amadeo, Cavite

Amadeo, Cavite - More than 2,500 individuals from this town benefitted from the assistance given by Sen Bong Go during his visit Monday, August 5, 2024.

The assistance came from Senator Bong Go thru the Local Government Social Fund.

It benefitted solo parents, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Grade 12 graduates and scholars from 26 barangays of Amadeo.

Each received P2,000 plus grocery packs. Several items like bicycles, wrist watches, sunglasses were also raffled. Basket and Volley balls were also given to chosen residents.

In the past, Sen Bong Go has already extended assistance to Amadeo thru various projects.

Among them were additional funds for the construction of the new municipal building, funds for the construction of a super health center which is one of his super projects in addition to Malasakit Centers and a modern firetruck.

To show appreciation, the local government unit thru the Sangguniang Bayan passed a resolution declaring Senador Bong Go as Adopted Son of Amadeo.

Senador Go thanked the people for the warmth welcome and promised more projects for the town that will benefit its citizenry, youth and other sectors of the society. (Roselle Aquino)

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
