The Provincial Government of Quezon has launched its new and improved tourism campaign which aims to establish the province as the prime agrI-tourism hub in the Calabarzon region by 2030. During the two-day activity, the provincial government, led by Governor Doktora Angelina Helen Tan, along with the tourism office spearheaded the relaunch of the “Tara Na Sa Quezon” campaign through an agri-tourism familiarization tour to feature both existing and emerging agri-tourism sites in the province.(PIA 4-A)

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
