SENATOR BONG GO ASSISTANCE TO FIRE VICTIMS: Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong”Go led on Monday, August 26,2024 the distribution of financial assistance to more than 746 families from Barangays 5 and 7 in Cavite City who were displaced during a massive fire that hit several villlages last July 14, 2024. Each family received Php 20,000.00. At present , a State of Calamity signed by Mayor Denver Chua as endorsed by by the city council and the local disaster Risk Reduction and Managing Council is still in effect in the said affected barangays | (Ruel Francisco - PIA Cavite)

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
