Laguna PESO conducts Career Development Support Program for Grade 10 students
Nagcarlan, Laguna - The Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) conducted Career Development Support Program (CDSP) for Grade 10 students of Talangan Integrated National High School and Lowland Integrated National High School on 09 January 2025 in this municipality.
Part of the program is Career Advocacy and Employment Coaching (CAEC) services, a collaboration between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and he Department of Education (DepEd), aimed to prepare students in the employment industry by helping them make informed decisions on which career path to take, latest labor market information, and other pertinent info.
The PESO team headed by Ms. Maria Cathleen N. Martinez and assisted by Ms. Shannel O. Flores, held Employability Enhancement Seminar and Walk-Through with Province of Laguna Employment Information System (PLEIS), and discussed topics such as work ethics, life skills and labor education with videopresentation.
CDSP is an employment facilitation intermediation service with the primary goal of providing career development support services, by integrating and strengthening all employment facilitation services, in order to address the gaps in employability dimensions, for example, personal and environmental factors, job objectives, skills and requirements to perform the job, job search skills, and ability to maintain a job.
