High Value Individual arrested in Rizal Police Drug Bust

 Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Calamba City – A High-Value Individual with P884,000.00 worth of shabu was arrested during a police operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Team of Angono Municipal Police Station on February 12, 2025, in Brgy. Bagumbayan, Angono, Rizal.

The suspect was identified as alias “Speed,” 38, a resident of Brgy. San Isidro, Angono, Rizal.

The operation was launched following intelligence gathered from a confidential informant, who reported that suspect alias “Speed” was actively engaged in selling shabu in the area.

During the buy-bust operation, authorities seized 7 sachets of shabu weighing 130 grams along with a sling bag and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect was brought to the Rizal Provincial Hospital System for a physical and medical examination before being turned over to the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit for further laboratory testing together with the confiscated evidences.

PRO4A Regional Director PBGEN Paul Kenneth Lucas commended the operatives for their swift and strategic action in apprehending the suspect.

“This operation proves our firm fight against illegal drugs in CALABARZON. We will not let anyone, especially criminals, ruin the lives of our people. Let this be a warning that drug peddlers have no place in our region,” he said.

Meanwhile, the arrested suspect is currently detained at the Custodial Facility of Angono MPS, and pertinent documents are being prepared for the filing of charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, at the Rizal Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Hilltop, Taytay, Rizal.(Roselle Aquino)
