 Inauguration of Multi-Purpose Building in Balete, Batangas


Department of Public Works and Highways Batangas 3rd District Engineering Office joins the inauguration of the newly-constructed multi-purpose building in Brgy. Balete, Batangas on January 16, 2025. This shall be utilized as the Sangguninang Barangay Building to serve as the hub for various community activities and the new office of the Association of the Barangay Chairmen (ABC).
Balete’s development plan to enhance public infrastructure aims to promote a more efficient work environment for its officials and personnel, allowing them to better serve and to respond to the growing demands of the locals. This new infrastructure underscores the DPWH Batangas 3rd DEO’s role as the key player in the community’s infrastructure development by providing modern spaces to improve public services.(Arman Cambe)

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
