 MLNI opens first convenience store 
Mga Likha ni Inay (MLNI), the marketing arm of CARD MRI, opened the first convenience store in San Pablo City, Laguna, on January 30, 2025. The store offers a mix of locally made and commercial products, bridging small-scale producers with mainstream consumers while promoting sustainability. Located at 20 M.L. Quezon St., City Subdivision, San Pablo City, Laguna, the store operates 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM on weekends. It also supports the local economy by creating jobs and providing a professional retail space for local businesses.

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
