 House and lot assigned to Laguna Heights beneficiaries


BAY, Laguna - Governor Ramil L. Hernandez and the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL), through the Provincial Urban Development and Housing Office (PUDHO) headed by Mr. Vivencio G. Malabanan, facilitated the relocation of families residing at PGL’s property in Brgy. Puypuy in Bay, Laguna where the Laguna Regional Hospital will be built. 

At present, they are temporarily housed in a property owned by the local government of Bay in Barangay Dila.  The displaced families will then be transferred permanently to Laguna Heights located in Brgy. Puypuy where the National Housing Authority (NHA) took charge of the construction of housing units. 

On 28 February 2025 at the Wellness Center of Brgy. San Nicolas in Bay,  said families participated in a draw lots for the house and lot assignment, and signed the Individual Loan Agreement and Conditional Contract to Sell. 

Present at the event were Gov. Henandez, Bay Municipal Administrator Atty. Joanna Patricia Padrid, local officials of Bay, and NHA officials headed by Engr. Ken Cedric Capulong, OIC Laguna District Office. (Article and photos: PUDHO/Laguna PIO)

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
