Calamba City-Shopwise officially opened its newest branch at Olivarez Plaza Mall, Milagrosa, Calamba City, Laguna on July 4, 2025—bringing an elevated grocery shopping experience to the South and creating more opportunities for the local community.
The grand launch was attended by key leaders including Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal, Vice Governor JM Carrait, Congresswoman Cha Hernandez-Alcantara, and Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez–President and CEO of Olivarez Malls with Mrs. Janet Olivarez, Robinsons Retail HoldingsInc Chairman Robina Gokongwei, and RRHI President/CEO Stanley Co grace the event.
Mayor Rizal expressed his full support for the new store, highlighting its impact on local families and employment:

Laguna Vice Governor JM Carrait likewise praised the development, recognizing the value it brings in supporting household needs while also boosting the local economy.
Congresswoman Cha Hernandez-Alcantara extended her gratitude to Mayor Edwin Olivarez for helping bring Shopwise to Calamba. She also added a lighthearted note, calling shopping “therapeutic” and saying that Shopwise is a “go-to” for the “Titas of Calamba.”
In response, Mayor Olivarez proposed a sisterhood city agreement between Parañaque and Calamba to encourage collaboration and sharing of good governance practices between the two cities.
