CARD SME Bank, together with the DENR and Toledo City LGU, conducted a tree planting activity this September at Purok 5, Barangay Bunga, Toledo City, Cebu. With the active participation of our staff from Cebu City, Lapu Lapu City, and Toledo City Branches, 300 native Narra seedlings were planted, reflecting our shared responsibility to care for the environment and future generations.

Through our ESG efforts—Environmental, Social, and Governance—we continue to build stronger and more sustainable communities.

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
