 Batangas City Triumphs at CALABARZON’s 6th Regional CRVS Quiz Bee

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Regional

Statistical Services Office IV-A conducted the 6th Regional Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Quiz Bee for Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) employees on 11 February 2026 at Solano Hotel, Lipa City, Batangas, gathering 15 contestants from various cities and municipalities across CALABARZON. The quiz covered civil registration laws, PSA mandates, and key programs and initiatives that support the strengthening of the country’s civil registration and vital statistics system. In her welcome remarks, Regional Director Charito C. Armonia underscored the importance of continuous learning and staying updated in Civil Registration and Vital Statistics. She described the Quiz Bee as both a competitive and educational platform that enhances knowledge andstrengthens the integrity of vital records. She also congratulated the provincial winners who advanced to the regional level, noting that their dedication contributes to a more responsive and reliable civil registration system, while recognizing all participants for their commitment to excellence.

After a competitive set of rounds, Ms. Perla D. Dalida of Batangas City, Batangas emerged as champion. Ms. Mary Grace A. Dantoc of Paete, Laguna secured second place, while Ms. Nessilda N. Manuba of Mauban, Quezon claimed third place. The Regional CRVS Quiz Bee forms part of the PSA’s continuing efforts to recognize the competence of LCRO personnel and reinforce their vital role in delivering accurate and efficientcivil registration services in CALABARZON.###
