 Don Bosco College Honors Benefactors at Annual Gratitude Night

Representing Governor Sol Aragones, veteran journalist Doland Castro attended the event and expressed appreciation on behalf of the provincial government. He shared the journey of both himself and the governor in journalism before entering public service, emphasizing the role of integrity in shaping responsible citizens. “Sa mundo pong ginagalawan namin, imporante rin po ang integridad,” he said, noting that journalists serve as society’s watchdogs and speakers of truth.““The event provided an opportunity for students, staff, and benefactors to connect, reflecting on how their support has directly impacted learning opportunities and the school community. Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
