Laguna-During the ceremony, Carina Macalos, Assistant Provincial Administrator, praised the leadership of Governor Sol and reaffirmed the administration’s strong commitment to education. “Ngayong taon na ito, kokompletuhin niya ang 25,000 scholars,” Macalos said, adding that 35,000 applicants have already taken the qualifying examination, reflecting the high level of interest in the provincial scholarship program. ““Meanwhile, Atty. Nathalie Velasquez, Provincial Administrator, greeted provincial employees in celebration of Valentine’s Day and the Chinese New Year and emphasized the value of dedication and punctuality in public service through the Be On Time Initiative. She also announced ongoing academic support programs, saying, “Right now, magbibigay po tayo ng review for around 243 education graduation student. ‘Yun po ay dadagdagan pa ni Governor Sol this coming year.” She further shared that the province is exploring additional review programs. ““Providing a health focused discussion, former Department of Health Undersecretary Dr. Eric Tayag reminded employees about the importance of emotional and mental well being as he discussed Broken Heart Syndrome. Dr. Tayag stressed that consistency is the key in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, especially for individuals facing stress in both personal and professional settings. ““The program concluded with the presentation of the comprehensive accomplishment report of the Laguna PIO, highlighting milestones in public information and communication efforts. Overall, the flag raising ceremony underscored the provincial government’s sustained commitment to education access, disciplined public service, and employee wellness, reinforcing Laguna’s people centered and forward looking governance.
