 Laguna PPO Earns Multiple Honors During PNP Day 2026 Celebration 



Camp BGen. Paciano Rizal – The Laguna Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of PCOL JONAR R YUPIO, Acting Provincial Director, garnered various awards during the celebration of the Philippine National Police Day 2026 with the theme “Serbisyong Nararamdaman, Kapulisang Maaasahan,” held on February 2, 2026 at the PRO 4A Covered Court, Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Brgy. Mayapa, Calamba City, Laguna.

The highlight of the celebration was the Presentation of Awards, which was led by PBGEN PAUL KENNETH T LUCAS, Regional Director, Police Regional Office 4A, assisted by the Command Group.  

PBGEN Lucas also delivered his message, commending the dedication and exemplary performance of the awardees and reaffirming the Philippine National Police’s commitment to quality service and professionalism in line with the theme “Serbisyong Nararamdaman, Kapulisang Maaasahan.” 

Among the awardees was PLTCOL BENSON D PIMENTEL, Chief of Police of the Santa Rosa Component City Police Station, who was recognized as Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and administrative competence. 

The Biñan Component City Police Station was also adjudged as Best City Police Station, with the award received by its Chief of Police, PLTCOL ALLAN REGINALD L BASIYA, for the unit’s exemplary operational efficiency and community-oriented policing initiatives. 

Likewise, the Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station was named as Best Municipal Police Station (Class A), with the award accepted by its Chief of Police, PLTCOL JOJO I SABENIANO, in acknowledgment of the station’s sustained efforts in crime prevention, public safety, and community engagement.

In addition, the City Government of Santa Rosa was honored as a PNP Day Calendar Year 2026 Celebration Special Awardee, recognizing its strong partnership and unwavering support to the Philippine National Police. The award was received by Hon. Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas. Meanwhile, Barangay San Ildefonso, Alaminos, Laguna was recognized as the Regional Local Government Unit Stakeholder Awardee at the barangay level. The award was received by Hon. Barangay Captain Lorenzo “Boy” Zuñiga Jr.


City Government of Santa Rosa was honored as a PNP Day Calendar Year 2026 Celebration Special Awardee,The award was received by Hon. Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas.

The Laguna PPO remains committed in upholding excellence in policing and strengthening collaboration with local government units and stakeholders in pursuit of a safer and more secure Laguna. 

“These recognitions are a testament to the hard work, discipline, and dedication of our police personnel and units. They inspire us to further strengthen our commitment to provide serbisyong nararamdaman and to be a kapulisang tunay na maaasahan ng mamamayan ng Laguna.” PCOL YUPIO said.( LPPO)
