 Pagsanjan Mayor Januario Ferry “Jan” Garcia Leads Meeting on Proposed New Pagsanjan Information Website


PAGSANJAN, Laguna — In a recent meeting headed by Mayor Januario Ferry Garcia, Innovators Computer Software Trading collaborated with the Municipal Information System Office (MISO) to discuss the proposed creation of an official Pagsanjan Information Website.“The new website aims to provide residents with easier access to essential information, public services, official announcements, and interactive updates on daily happenings in the municipality. A key feature of the platform will be live streaming of public news and updates, ensuring constituents stay informed in real time.“Mayor Garcia emphasized that this digital initiative is designed to strengthen communication between the local government and the community, making government services more accessible and keeping the public connected to the latest developments in Pagsanjan.“The proposed website represents a significant step toward modernizing public information delivery and fostering transparency within the local government. Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
