SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas o4icially welcomes Myrna Esguerra as its Goodwill Brand Ambassador following the signing of the  Memorandum of Agreement, marking a meaningful partnership dedicated to giving hope, care, and brighter futures to children and families  in need.


Manila, Philippines — May 7, 2026 — SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas proudly announces the appointment of Myrna Esguerra as its newest Goodwill Brand Ambassador, marking a significant milestone in strengthening its advocacy for vulnerable children and families across 

the Philippines.

A respected public figure and advocate, Myrna Esguerra is widely recognized for her dedication to children’s welfare, youth empowerment, and community development. In her new role, she will help amplify the organization’s mission by raising awareness, supporting fundraising initiatives, engaging with communities, and sharing the transformative stories of 

children and families under SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas’ care.

“I truly felt at home the moment I visited SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas,” Esguerra shared. “Their message, ‘Giving Hope a Chance,’ deeply resonated with me because of my own life experiences. There was a time when my family and I had very little, and hope was the only thing we could hold on to. Seeing an organization dedicated to giving children that same hope and opportunity means so much to me. Knowing these children will no longer have to face 

life’s hardships alone heals something within me.”

For decades, SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas has been committed to supporting children without parental care and families at risk. Through family-like care, education, and community-based programs, the organization ensures that children grow up in safe environments with dignity, confidence, and hope for the future.
