 DOST-Cavite participates in People’s Caravan in Naic, Cavite

The DOST Cavite participated in the People’s Caravan, with the theme “Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa,” organized by the National Housing Authority (NHA), held on May 26, 2026, at Rancho Verde 2, Malainen Bago, Naic, Cavite.
The activity brought together various government agencies to provide accessible public services and assistance programs to the community. During the caravan, DOST Cavite showcased its science and technology programs and services to residents and attendees.
Also present during the event were several government agencies that provided frontline services, consultations, and other forms of public assistance, reinforcing the collaborative effort of bringing government services closer to the people.
Through its participation, DOST Cavite continues to support initiatives that promote community engagement and improve public access to government programs and services through science, technology, and innovation.

Laguna PDRRMO holds Incident Command System Position Course

  The Laguna Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) headed by Mr. Aldwin M. Cejo, in coordination with the Office of the Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a 5-day Incident Command System (ICS) - Position Course at El Cielito Hotel, Santa Rosa City, Laguna on 29 July to 01 August 2024, attended by Laguna’s city and municipal DRRMO personnel.  The trainees were tasked to discuss, brainstorm, plan and decide on the operational activities to be done before responding. It also raised awareness on the different ICS positions being used in responding to disasters for them to be equipped with much needed knowledge, skills and attitude in managing disasters and planned events.
