Gov. Sol Aragones Strengthens Partnership with Faith Leaders, Backs Moral Recovery Efforts in Laguna
Governor Sol Aragones met with pastors from various churches during a gathering held on July 16, in San Pedro, Laguna, reaffirming her commitment to strengthening partnerships with the faith-based sector and advancing moral recovery initiatives across the province.
During the event, Governor Aragones shared her message of faith, compassion, and public service, drawing inspiration from her upbringing in the church in San Pablo. She emphasized the importance of listening and showing empathy to those facing life's challenges, saying, "Kapag may problema ang isang tao, hindi mo naman kailangan magsalita. Kailangan niya lang maramdaman na may tenga at may tao na nakakaunawa sa kanyang nararamdaman."
She also announced the Provincial Government's commitment to strengthening its moral recovery efforts, stating, "At papalakasin po natin ang ating Moral Recovery Department."
As a gesture of appreciation and support, Governor Aragones surprised each pastor with half a sack of rice, recognizing their invaluable role in guiding communities and promoting spiritual and moral values.
The gathering served as an opportunity for the governor to personally engage with church leaders, listen to their concerns, and reaffirm the Provincial Government's commitment to working hand in hand with faith-based organizations in fostering hope, compassion, and stronger communities throughout Laguna.
