Cavite Medical Center welcomes new management as it joins CARD MRI network

Cavite Medical Center (CMC), a tertiary hospital in Cavite City, welcomes its new management team and newly elected board of directors during its town hall meeting on September 7, 2026, which brings together the CMC’s executive officers, partner representatives, physicians, healthcare staff, and administrative personnel.

Now in its 54th year since opening in September 1972, the hospital has entered a new era following its acquisition by CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI). Under this new leadership, the institution is headed by President Dr. Gil Mikhail Llanto and Board Chairman Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip, who is also the founder and chair emeritus of CARD MRI.  

As part of the transition, Cavite Medical Center officially joins CARD Care Network Inc. (CCNI), the healthcare arm of CARD MRI that manages its network of health facilities and services. This alignment unites CMC’s 54-year medical legacy in Cavite with CARD MRI’s established experience in community-based development. 

“For years, CMC has been a hospital Cavite families could count on. We are honored to inherit its legacy of compassionate care, especially for those who need it most,” said Dr. Llanto emphasizing his vision for the hospital’s future. “CARD Care Network will carry that legacy forward, keeping CMC’s doors open wider so more families in Cavite can access the quality care they deserve.”

The new management presented new employee benefits, engagement initiatives, and professional growth programs to strengthen support for employee welfare and create opportunities for the professional and personal growth of the hospital’s healthcare workforce.

“This new chapter of CMC is about continuity of service and a deeper purpose,” said Dr. Alip. “We honor the 54 years of CMC’s compassionate care, and we will continue its service of delivering high-quality healthcare, now with the shared mission of poverty eradication with CARD MRI and bringing accessible healthcare to the community.”

As CMC moves forward with CARD Care Network, patients and community members can expect more accessible, community-focused, patient-centered healthcare.
